Not too long ago, if a European set their country code to the country of origin,
say Denmark, the commas and periods worked as they should, delineating the
decimal placeholder and hundreds, thousands, etc. Something has changed in
the Microsoft technology and this is no longer true for Internet Explorer 7. In the USA and the
UK, a number is written 329,497,678.55. In Demark and other places, the
same number is written 329.497.678,55. Now, no matter the country setting,
the user must type in numbers as in the US and the UK using a period for the
decimal placeholder. Using commas will give the user bad numbers. We
apologize for this
inconvenience. We are trying to find a solution to this, but have
not found one so far. We have no reports from other browsers. It
well could still work in IE 6 and IE 5.5
This is not true for the desktop version of the software. Changing the
country setting switches the use of periods and commas correctly.
